Most people travel east to discover yoga. In Sudha's case it was the opposite. Although she grew up in India, she discovered yoga by accidentally wandering into a class in the United States. And then, it was love at first adho mukha svanasana -- it felt so right. Since then, she's been marveling, practicing and learning. She completed her 200 Hr. Yoga Teacher Training under the able and gifted guidance of Debbie Forrest who teaches in the Anusara style.
Sudha has taught for the past eight years, and is equally passionate about both, the active vinyasa style flow classes and the wonderfully effective yin. When she is not teaching yoga, she writes fiction. She is the author of two short story collections: "There are Seven Notes", "MissinG" and Other Stories. Like her life, most of her work straddles continents.
