For over 15 years, Ignite Yoga Studios has always been voted best in the west and recognized with multiple grants and kids yoga programs. We sparked the yogic flame across our community.
Now, we’re evolving from impactful studios into a movement that breaks through walls to unite and uplift entire communities. Phase Two means activating planned spaces, environments, and partnerships to bring mindfulness accessibility to all, regardless of barriers. Complimentary Yoga for all!

KIDS SUMMER FAMILY CHILD DEVELOPMENT EXPERT
Leslie LeVan has spent a lifetime learning how children grow — and supporting spaces where they
can. With four degrees spanning early childhood education, child development, human
development, and special education, her academic foundation runs deep. But it’s her years in
the classroom that truly define her approach.
As a teacher in the Arizona public school system for over 20 years, Leslie worked with
preschool through third-grade students both with and without disabilities. She also owned and
operated a preschool for eight years, welcoming children from 18 months to 12 years old into a
community built on inclusion, curiosity, and care. She is also the author of A Child’s View
Curriculum, a practical guide helping teachers and parents create nurturing environments that
meet each child’s individual needs using materials readily at hand.
Now, as a retired educator, Leslie brings that same devotion to the yoga mat. She has been a
beloved part of the kids program at the Ignite Yoga Foundation for many years — not because
yoga was the next logical step, but because she recognized something familiar in it: the power
of a positive environment and the right opportunity to change the trajectory of a child’s day, and
maybe their life.
Leslie believes that every child who walks through the door deserves a reason to come back.
Through breath, movement, and play, she offers families something that is
genuinely theirs — a place to try something new, feel capable, and leave a little more rooted
than when they arrived.
Her hope is quiet but steady: that something she introduces might take hold and grow long
after class is over.
