At Ignite, we work hard to provide quality programming that brings the benefits of yoga to everyone in our community. We are proud to be one of the top yoga studios in the valley, but also to be categorized as a ‘learning studio,’ with award winning programs.
We kicked off this new school year with our open house, celebrating our teachers and honoring them with complimentary classes. We are also excited to start to present new learning opportunities.
In our community, we offer a wide array of yoga programs. For our school-aged youth, Lionhearts after school program will be taking place in nine local schools this Fall.
Ignite Yoga Foundation is raising funds to provide a complimentary yoga classes to 15-20 children in Title 1 schools. These classes will help enhance children’s focus and emotional well being. We know the benefits of yoga, and we want to ensure everyone has a chance to experience the practice.
At the brand new Canyon View high school, we’re working with the staff to bring an innovative approach to athletics. Ignite Yoga is in coordination with the school’s the strength and conditioning coach to provide yoga to enhance the athletics sports department. Every football team member in the incoming freshman class will participate in yoga, and our hope is that soon, every student in the school will have the chance as well.
At Ignite, we are excited for our students to grow and dig into their learning with our advanced 300-hour yoga teacher training starting this month, and we will also offer Yin certification with Joe Barnett-Paul Grilley’s most senior assistant, beginning in September 15th.
We’re on a mission to bring yoga to everyone—in our studio and beyond! Thank you for your continued support!
We begin a new month. And, over the last few months, there has been movement. Some of it has been very subtle, and some worldly things have been pretty significant. Archangel Jophiel will be with us the entire month to remind of us to recognize and appreciate beauty. One of the many ways we can embrace that is to spend some time outside reconnecting with the beauty of nature. For those of us that live in the desert, we can now begin to spend less time inside. Getting outside is such a welcome change from dashing from the car to inside the house. For those in cooler climates, the leaves are beginning to change, and there's a crispness to the air. Archangel Jophiel also helps to see the beauty in situations. At first glance, certain life circumstances or situations may not appear to be positive, but in hindsight, you will see there was divine timing, right action, and beauty in that situation. Archangel Jophiel lives up to her name because in finding the beauty you will rediscover the joy.
Our Spirit Animal helping us this month is the eagle. The eagle flies highest to the sky and closest to our creator helping our prayers to be delivered. The eagle is also a messenger spirit that allows us to connect with our own divinity, receiving messages and the ability to rise above the ordinary everyday struggles to find the beauty and meaning beyond what is obvious. Eagle feathers assist medicine people/shamans in connecting with Spirit for healing. When asked, the eagle will share its power of vision, wisdom, strength, and commitment. I find the energy of the eagle to be very similar to that of Archangel Michael. Maybe this month you can spend some time in meditation with Archangel Jophiel and the eagle. If you do, notice how their energy feels to you and if you get any messages.
This week the angels would like us to focus on reconnecting to the things that bring us joy and remind us of the beauty of just being alive, grateful, and appreciative.
Have a great week everyone, I'm sending you good vibes!
